A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dr. Torrence Stepteau and his family, have resided in the Dallas Fort- Worth area for the past twenty-six years. He is double Board-Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Dr. Stepteau initially practiced Anesthesiology exclusively for his first six years, but he has helped patients find relief from their acute and chronic pain for over 20 years.

Dr. Stepteau earned his medical degree in 1993 from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. The following year, he completed an internship at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, before doing his residency in Anesthesiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He finished his medical education by completing his fellowship in interventional pain management at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee where he was recognized by his attending physicians for having the best bedside manner among all the fellows in the program. He has previously been recognized as a top physician in the field of pain management by both Fort Worth Magazine and D Magazine.

During his career, Dr. Stepteau has practiced in large Anesthesiology groups, large, and medium sized, and pain management groups, and has also been a solo practitioner practicing pain management. Recently, has joined the medical staff at Momentum Spine and Joint, and looks forward to assisting patients recover from their acute pain injuries. Dr. Stepteau through the years has had clinical privileges at numerous hospitals and surgery centers throughout Dallas Fort-Worth and holds memberships to several Medical Societies. In his spare time, Dr. Stepteau enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, and watching as well attending sporting events.
